  • The Resurrection Prayer

We are to stand on the principle of "you get what you say.” per Isaiah 55:11, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (kjv) To do this, we needed to apply God’s Book of motivational speeches, Proverbs, in particular Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Because God is a God of order, not chaos, we must teach ourselves to respond vs. reacting, in a logical manner especially in health issues. Prayers such as the Resurrection Prayer claim the power that resurrected Jesus Christ out of death, opened the tomb, and transfigured Him into heaven, and we as His children have full access to it. It calls on Ezekiel 37:4, “Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. 5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live” (kjv) Call forth the resurrection power that lays within us by the power of Jesus Christ to come forth knowing every believer in Jesus Christ has a seed within them that will raise a dead body to life or transform a body into a glorified one. The Resurrection Prayer Dear Jesus, Help me to understand that your life, death, and resurrection were not in vain. Every time a negative thought begins to form in my mind, help me to instead, be grateful that you suffered unbearably, just for me. That you suffered so that I did not have to, means I can give all my worries and cares to you, while at the same time, move forward, because of your resurrection power that brings dead things to life. I claim your resurrection power on this day to cover my mind, body, and soul, my health, my finances, my family, my friends, all area of our lives in Jesus’ name. I understand that by claiming your resurrection power for my life daily, I am joyful, in Jesus’ name. I have all my needs met, in Jesus’ name. I am healthy, in Jesus’ name. I am made whole, In Jesus Name. Amen Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. Because God is I AM. I AM healed, I AM delivered. I AM set free. I claim the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior for my life daily, I AM healed in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  • That born again glow.

This is GLOW. A 16x24 oil on gallery wrapped canvas depicting a ruby suspended inside a common mason jar. A fairly simple and expendable molded jar used in home canning to preserve food and a way of life and a symbol of comfort food and named after inventor John Landis Mason in 1858. They fell out of favor in the 1950s as refrigeration came to most homes but as American food culture retreated from processed foods, the need for the mason jar boomed again in the 1970s. And when filled with treats and goodies, were an still are an absolute treasure gift! Also about this same time in the 1970s, the Jesus movement took hold. The Doobie Brothers were singing... ...Jesus, he's my friend I said Jesus, he's my friend He took me by the hand He let me far from this land Jesus, he's my friend!... We had a "born again" Christian president elected named Jimmy Carter who openly used the common evangelical phrase for a decisive conversion to Christ to describe his own spiritual experience and status. The phrase "born again" is derived from Jesus' statement to Nicodemus in the Gospel of John, chapter 3: "You must be born again." And I became "born again" as well as baptized in the Holy Spirit. And then came the 1990s. The Mason jars became more useful than just for food storage. Their popularity resumed into full swing of the crafters movement along with a homey way to drink beer, sweet tea or painted up mini aquariums and even lighting fixtures. And following along with the new wave in mason jar uses in the 1990s, born again Christians had entered the religious and social mainstream of American society. The stigma often attached to being born again in the early part of the twentieth century, known as the "holy rollers", largely dropped away as new and revived evangelical Christians were exerting their voices and inserted their institutions firmly into the middle of American social, political, and religious life amidst a world that was beginning to show signs of the conflicts to come with the first Gulf War and attacks in New York City. And REM was singing "Everybody Hurts" ... Everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends. Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand. If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long, When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on..." It says in Zechariah 9:16 "The LORD their God will save his people on that day as a shepherd saves his flock. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown." Yes we are His Jewels. For thousands of years, rubies were considered the stone of love, energy, passion, power, and a zest for life. Like no other gemstone in the world, ruby is the perfect symbol for powerful feelings and second only to diamonds in their strength. Proverbs 3:15 "She is more precious than rubies: and all the things you can desire are not to be compared unto her." Romans 6 talks in verse 7 Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power is from God and not from us. 8 We are pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always consigned to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal bodies. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. 13 And in keeping with what is written: “I believed, therefore I have spoken,”we who have the same spirit of faith also believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that the One who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in His presence. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is extending to more and more people may overflow in thanksgiving, to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and temporary affliction is producing for us an eternal glory that far outweighs our troubles. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. And the mason jars are still going strong in the hands of home canners, artisans, crafters, children penny jars and so on and so on and so on. And so is the Jesus movement. So hold on. Jesus will hold you together so let the ruby within you glow. And I look forward to seeing you on the other side. Blessings. Hey wait a minute!! What is wrong with this picture? My lesson of late has been about being still and waiting on Gods perfect timing. Psalms 25:4 says "Show me your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths." And I thought that GLOW was finished. Yet... there was that ever so slight thought that something was missing. And yes, the lesson came loud and clear. When God heals, HE leaves no void. Something good will come from it. As I looked at the ruby, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that it lacked His principals. Nothing God does remains dormant. Gods manifests growth of love. "...may not be a wise man and I don't have much to bring But my heart is my gift of love, so lead me to the King..." sings Ray Boltz to The Bethlehem Star. So back to the easel and finish the task the Holy Spirit wishes. And He wants for the flower, the Bethlehem Star to be growing out from the ruby of God's true love. "For unto us a child is born, to yes a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince Peace." Isaiah 9:6. Eric Clapton sings Let it Grow. "Standing at the crossroads, trying to read the signs To tell me which way I should go to find the answer, And all the time I know, Plant your love and let it grow Let it grow, let it grow, Let it blossom, let it flow In the sun, the rain, the snow, Love is lovely, let it grow..." Lesson learned. Wait till the Holy Spirit says "it is good" and no more jumping to my conclusions as to when it is done. After all, I paint for Jesus. And He says "okay NOW it is done". And with that, thank you and I will see you on the other side if not sooner :)

  • Be gold baby. Be GOLD!

The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the Lord tests hearts. Proverbs 17:3 Ecclesiastes 12:6 Remember him—BEFORE the silver cord is severed, and the golden bowl is broken; The silver cord of light is often associated with the connection of the soul to our Father in heaven. 1 Thessalonians 5 says "You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness." Silver was once the price of redemption required to redeem the elect family of God back unto God. In Exodus and Zechariah, the amount to compensate the master of a lost slave was 30 pieces for 30 days of earnings. In Matthew 26, Judas sold out Jesus for 30 pieces, a month of wages, and the last time the Bible mentioned silver being paid for ones redemption. Redemption now comes only through Jesus Christ directly. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16. And in return we are to follow 1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." John 19:5 “Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!” Jesus is our Light. Our Thread at work in us just as in 2 Timothy 2:20 "In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. 21 Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work." Everyone is a vessel. Either a vessel of gold or silver for honorable use or a vessel of wood and clay for dishonorable use. There is no middle ground, we are either one or we are the other. Choose. And then live accordingly. “There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up” according to Proverbs 21:20 so clean yourself up because guess who's coming? Be gold baby! BE GOLD! And I will see you on the other side.”

  • Happy Noodle Day!

Did you know that God is a mind reader?! Yep! The other day I was in the store shopping and while in the pasta aisle looking at the multitudes of factory processed boxes when a flashback of my grams homemade egg noodles popped up and warmed my heart. Today! My daughter’s (who chose very well a good man and his Italian family, blending her family beautifully to his) husband dropped off about 5# of fresh ready to roll pasta dough! So we did! Thank you Jesus! I see what you did😀 Jeremiah 17:10 “I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” And a treat!

  • no coercion needed

Oswald Chambers offers this perspective, "Jesus never pleaded, He never entrapped; He made discipleship intensely narrow, and pointed out certain things which could never be in those who followed Him." Chambers also said, "The words of the Lord hurt and offend until there is nothing left to hurt and offend. Jesus Christ has no tenderness whatever toward anything that is ultimately going to ruin a man in the service of God." Do what you know you need to do to walk with Him. this struck me as it jostled the memory of a day at work. my cube mate was a JW pastor and was on a personal call to one of his parishioners and were discussing the tag team plan of “securing this guy” into their church. do you realize how many unsuspecting people, including or especially children, are groomed like this? Jesus don’t play that way. “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.” Matthew 10:14

  • Da Boyz' are back in Town!

and sometimes you just gotta paint the fun! it says in Proverbs 17:22 , “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.” The Proverbs are the original motivational poster speak written down under the direction of God who installed our funny bone. He knew that we would would be needing humor not just just as a health benefits but that laughter is a great antidote to stress. He is merciful indeed. And this is called Da Boyz!

  • Mistakes can be fixed.

What was intended to be a gift for a beloved arrived with errors. BIG ERRORS! Calls were made and the company apologized and sent out a corrected version. And not only maintained their good public relations but kept their guarantee. Oh but then what to do with this monstrous error sized 36" x 48"? It is just too nice and way to big to just throw away. Donating it to charity seemed illogical considering the chances of someone having the same scenario of names. Welllll...you give it to mom. And so she did. And this mom took it on in the same light as giving all works to God for His plan in His time. And there it sat. For months. Waiting. For the right person. At the right time. Philippians 4:6-7 Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One. And yes it now has a home as the Holy Spirit chose its recipients. And yes just like the blessings from Jesus, it was kicked up a notch or two :)

  • Not just an artist

Can one actually be making enough money as an artist to support themself in the manner they want? It all depends on whether or not you can transform your talents into corporate skills. They have the money to pay for your lifestyle while you hone and learn to market your art. I did. I researched the job market, the glass ceilings, wages, advancements, what would be fun as well as utilizing my talents. I chose power utility design and became specialized in 3D designs of nuclear plants, followed by wind and solar stations. They have the money for the latest and greatest. I The wages were fantastic, I did have fun, my lifestyle exceeded my original plan and it set me up to retire early. I wouldn’t change a thing. It also paid for a lot of supplies. And I realized I am more than an artist. i posted this here to share my experience of God giving me the chance to use all of the gifts He has given me, including common sense, thinking, planning, and He had people He needed me to meet where I would not have otherwise 🌹 I am an artist, but thats not all I am, I am a wondrous creation of Gods ❤️

  • Mexican restaurant meets Italian winery wall.

When gifted 30 pallets of unmarked, unblemished, chemical free and clean California oak pallets, it set my imagination on fire! This project used up the last of it put up and in total homage to the Holy Spirit who brought me to where He wanted me. During one of my times in the desert, He would delight me and acknowledge my path with "angel numbers". Often in the mornings as I pulled the car out of the garage the radio clock would blink 4:44 at me as if in acknowledgment that He would accompany me on the upcoming 55 minute commute. And every so often He would show me 11:11 to let me know that its all only temporary. And best of all was the coming of the little children and changing the nighttime prayer I grew up with "If I die..." to “ the benediction of Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” And signed off with "And may you dream of blue bunnies, green kitties and know that Jesus loves you." Having prayed this for years for so many, finally, someone prayed this for me and I felt the blessing all the way to my soul. God is so good.

  • Its just the beginning!

An empty stools on an empty stage. A silent microphone. Spotlighting no one. The curtains parted. You went home. You understood your part in Romans “14: 11 for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”12 So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.” Yes you understood the assignment. This is Soliloquy. Luke 23:43, And Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with Me in Paradise.” See ya on the other side then. • The winter of my content.

This is Going Home. A one way ticket to eternity. When I began this piece the leaves were still on the trees and showed a slight hint of the splendor that would arrive in fewer days than what I would wish for. I first saw the double yellow road and in my thoughts I heard “stay in your lane bro”. The work progressed and the five leaves were added, dried up and brown, their life force being gone. Philippians 1:21 s ays, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” As I worked on this, various dilemmas came and went as they do and I learning more about staying in my lane. The “no passing” boundaries became clearer and I finally saw some of them as not just contentment but as a relief. For the others, seeing through the illusions of old dreams and useless desires can be difficult but with the taste of freedom to just be comes the anticipation of where the winds will blow me next. I saw sparkles creating a beam of light just as before when I stood in the glory of God. Throughout this time I kept seeing in my Spirit a bluish orb on one of the leaves. Not a bubble but an orb. I have prayed on this and have not yet heard the answer even though the painting says "it is done". I am unsure of what prophecy this is revealing to the masses but to myself it has been a time of realizing a little more clearer of my time on this earth and how easy it is to let go and trust the promise of the cross. It is now winter now, the trees are about bare revealing the life they have lived. And as trees ditch their leaves in the autumn to survive the winters harshness and to make a new place for the new growth, the Bible talks about dying to self being a process of setting aside what we want and what we think we need and to instead focus on loving God with everything we’ve got while realizing how to just have faith without working at it. He uses all these things to show me over and over and over again just how much He can see me and that while I still am not walking on water, I am truly ridin' with the King. And spring will come. New growth is happening. It always does. I will see you on the other side. • The Fabric of Eternity.

I saw the Rose of Sharon from the Song of Solomon 2:1: "I am the rose of Sharon..." and began to recreate it with brush and paint. Each abstract petal was red for true love, and as I painted, I heard the vendor commercial for 'Cotton - the fabric for your life' jingling in the back of my mind. I saw ordinary rose petals spinning into the folds of flowing fabric, creating wrinkles. Aha! FABRIC! Wrinkled with time. Wrinkled in time. Red for glory. Red for blood. Red for war. And then came the verse, "And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him." Matthew 27:28 (NKJV) Red for "He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God." Revelations 19:13 (NKJV) Oh yes, our beloved Savior wearing red, lined with pure light. As I continued to paint, I saw footprints appearing and walking into the center of the flower. Whose are they? Ours? Yes. And the hand? The hand of God. We are part of something genuinely divine and time is short. Look for Him. " And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV) And this is called A WRINKLE. Blessings, and it'd be nice to see you on the other side. *Prints and Giclees available at https://www.propheticsgallery.com/store-warehouse/art_print_products/store-warehouse-631hz5y85ve

  • Here's your sign.

More from my path... Not every day is easy. And yes I get perplexed just like everyone else. But I learned early on to say "praise the Lord for this" and this allows the angels He has charged to care for me to be loosed on the situation and to resolve it as He sees fit for my path. Praising Jesus for the good stuff is easy. Praising Him for the hard stuff is...well...tough. At first. Do it anyway. I remember the first time my mom suggested I do this. "What do you have to lose?" "Jesus wants to help build up your faith." So I did. Through gritted teeth I said "I praise you for this Lord." Nothing. Oh well. I just kept going about my day and well wouldn't you know I hadn't given the problem another thought and for crying out loud if it didn't get resolved! Well look at that Lord! No things do not always work out like I want them too but they do work out. The money issues got resolved. The kids find their way. I find my way. The job worked out. The food was provided. And so on and so on. Hindsight has proven this true. Praise the Lord. Maybe it is because of the path my soul chose, maybe it is because of the situations I have gotten in, maybe its just because God chooses to add on the extra blessing but I have always seen my angels, in many forms, and their presence has truly been a comfort many times over. And feathers appear when angels are near. Each feather is a blessing, unique gift of God. Psalm 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways...show our heavenly Father giving His angels commands concerning the protection and guardianship of us, His beloved children. Angels always move to the authority and sound of God's voice. In Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Hebrews 1:14 "Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" And sometimes to help you they need to get your attention. Feathers, dimes, numbers and more. So what's up with the 444? Angels are of the heavenly realm and they strive to communicate with us meek mortals. And being mortals we respond well to patterns and sequences. For such a long time I would see 4:44. On my way to work. On my way home. On my days off I would even wake up at 4:44 am. Really you guys?! 444 is a very powerful number. It means that your angels are by your side and want the very best for you. They are asking that you pay attention very carefully to the signs that you see around you. Exodus 23:20 "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Angels always have our best interest, because they are loyal to God's interest. But we must always test the spirits through the Word of God because the enemy is a relentless counterfeiter. And so goes this painting called Keep Going. Jeremiah 31:21 "set up road signs; guideposts. Take note of the highway, the road you take. Return,Virgin Israel, return to your towns." • Schmooze over everything.

Vinegar was given to Jesus as he hung on the cross dying as a mockery designed to extract the last amount of torment. Matthew 27:48 says "Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus." And it is recorded that after this He died. For me. For you. The drink was likely the common drink of workers and soldiers known as posca, which was a mixture of old vinegar, warm water and raw eggs. And yet My gram used to say "you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar" to my inevitable response of "ewww who wants flies"! Meaning if I wanted something from her I should probably put a smile on my face, ask nicely and say please. It is called the art of schmoozing defined as "to sweet talk people so that they give you what you want." According to Luke 6:45, "the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." And just might get you that chocolate chip cookie right before dinner. "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver." Proverbs 25:11 Fitly? Yes fitly. As in the proper manner or place or at the proper time. There are over 100 different Bible verses that pertain to the power of the human tongue. My own personal well oiled Psalm 141:3 "Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips!" to Romans 10:9 "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." And in Matthew 12:36 we are warned "I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak". You betcha your words will come back to you. And it will be sooner than later. Right here and right now you will have as you say. Do your words bring life? Or do your words bring death? So put into practice now that which you choose for your self. Consider it studying up for the big final that will come. God will be reviewing them and it will be seen how they manifested. Did they do harm? Or did they bring love? Make your words gold. From Genesis through Revelations silver and gold are mentioned over 780 times. Kirk Franklin's gospel song sings of... Silver and gold. Silver and gold. I'd rather have Jesus than silver and gold. No fame or fortune. Nor riches untold. I'd rather have Jesus than silver and gold. Yes, I would rather have Jesus. Why? God's will. God's grace. PRINTS AND GICLEES available at https://www.propheticsgallery.com/store-warehouse/art_print_products/store-warehouse-yw1qaqc6ecy

  • No coal for you!

Did ya know? Rosehips are an accessory to the rose! They begin to form after a successful pollination of the rose and then more are propagated from these hips by removing the achenes that contain the seeds from the outer coating and is sown just beneath the soils surface. Then it is time to chill for a season or two before they will germinate. And did ya also know? Diamonds are created in the core of the earths mantle and pushed up to the surface through by a deep source volcanic eruption and have been dated being much older than Earth's first land plants, where the origin of coal also happens to coincide. In Genesis terms, diamonds were most likely created early in the day of Day 2 (9 And God said, “Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so”). So no! Our hearts cannot be compared to black coal! We are formed at the center of all that God created and rest in His mantle. Like His diamonds! He treats kindly and gently. Man chips and stresses. What?! Wait?! That cannot be true!! Whining, nagging, harping! All that will surely show Gods grace and melt that heart and get "them" on the straight and narrow. Nope! Nada! Nein! No! This is the First Fruits. James 1:18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all He created. I saw a rosebud with an underlayment in a shimmer of gold, a treasure. Red for true love. This is you. There is none like you nor ever will be again. You matter. Make the most of your life. And the rosehips? The first fruits of the Spirit, the nine attributes of living in accord with the Holy Spirit, according to chapter 5 of the Epistle to the Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Your heart is His most treasured diamond. It comes from Him. Not coal. Hebrews 3:7 “So, as the Holy Spirit says “Today, if you hear his voice, 8 do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness, 9 where your ancestors tested and tried me, though for forty years they saw what I did. 10 That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ 11 So I declared on oath in my anger, They shall never enter my rest.’ ” 12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ... And then came Jesus. And it is our mantle to share out the joy of Christ. Jesus. Yep the smiling one! He rejoices in us. He delights in us. So smile. Be happy. And we can meet up on the other side. :) PRINTS AND GICLEES available at https://www.propheticsgallery.com/store-warehouse/art_print_products/store-warehouse-tpnycjti3n0
