In her 2011 speech to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Australia, the queen quoted an Aboriginal proverb: “We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love, and then we return home.” Just like her, we are each set to do the same. To observe from Gods point of view. To learn to be more like Jesus. To grow in our faith. To love as Jesus. Her faith stayed in tact. If it ever waivered, it was only temporary. And by our choice to return home. I am here to learn and to share what I learn in my stories before I go home. Its daunting. Its rewarding. Its evolving. Its often difficult, but its my path. Thank you Jesus. 🌹

Just the picture of this pudding box and I am thrown back to the truly good old days. All the windows are open. Summer breezes are wafting in making the curtain pulls rap repeatedly on the walls. The laughter of generations of daughters fills the air. This gathering was like all of the gatherings, any reason would do. Go! Gather in gram's tiny one bedroom house around an old round pedestal table that squandered the entire kitchen. A ring of vinyl covered chairs that had been recovered oh so many times, yet they were still making do just fine. Oh but there is new blue and white flowered wallpaper on the kitchen wall. Hmmm... someone brought their style to gram's house again. A platter of home made buns with sliced ham from Loy's City Meats and buttered! Both sides. Don't be chintzy. And gram's lemon pie, a legacy. Funny how a product that began about the time my gram was born in the early 1900s, still lives on. Good things last. And memories don't really fade. They can be brought back from the recesses and seem like yesterday. And just like that I can hear gram's crazy voice singing "nearer my God to thee..". I can hear my sisters laughing with our cousins. Mom and her sisters continue their unbreakable bond. My heart is so full it beats loudly in the lump in my throat. No this isn't a shameless plug for any particular product yet there are few I have ever found that can best it. The recipe is right on the box. You made it right if the meringue is at least three inches thick. Summer days. Memories. Pass it along. "Be present at our table Lord. Be here and everywhere adored. These mercies grant that we May feast in paradise with thee. Amen" "Girls come and make a plate" " Sit! Eat!" Gram! You should have made the pie in a cake pan!" "Did you know that..." "Did you hear that..." dishes clatter...silverware scrapes...the smell of egg coffee...more laughing... and I think to myself what a wonderful world... ohhhh yeahhhhh

I have to share this! It's about angels. Being one. All week long I thought I should run into town. But I heard "no". Finally on Friday morning I thought I should run to the store now, its early and won’t be many people there. But I heard “go mow the lawn”. So I did. Finally around noon, I felt released to finally go get my errands done. First I went to the hardware store an picked up the hose. Smooth sailing! In and out and done! Ta-ta-dah!! As I walked to my car I noticed it looked like it had been hit! What?! Nooo…I Nope just a reflection from the pickup truck parked next to me. Whew! Thank you Jesus. Then I drove over to the pet store and picked up the dog food. Long line and one cashier working. I have been working on my patience and just stood in line with the 24 pound bag and just waited. Eventually I it was my turn and finally! I am out of there. I walk back to my car, the key fob is in my pocket so I set the bag down when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and looked right into the saddest face I had seen in a long time. I felt the Holy Spirit rise up in me and I asked the young lady “ohhh what’s the matter?” She replied “I have been waiting for you to come back to your car. I am so so sorry” and the tears were streaming down her face. I asked her why she was crying and she told me of driving this big car and misjudging just how big it was and that she had hit my car and that she had her insurance information all ready to show me. I asked her to show me where the damage was as I had not seen it. She pointed to a dime size smudge on the back panel. I touch it and sure enough there was a smudge of her paint on it that wiped right off. I said “well that’s nothing don’t worry about it” And then she really cried. Awww… Then I looked at her, or rather Jesus in me was showing me her. I saw a scared new driver who made a mistake. And a very small one. But she stood there and she owned it. It’s like the meme that says “stand up and speak even if your voice shakes”. And she was doing it! I then felt my self make a “mom move”. I said “it’s just a car. Do you need a hug?” And she said “oh yes please!” Instantaneously I reached out and hugged this sweet young sad woman and said “its okay, really. Its just a car an it is such a beautiful day out. Please just go and enjoy it. Everything is fine. And thank you for telling me.” So now I know why God said to wait on the errands until they were on His timing. He wanted to see if I could love a total stranger. And I did. And He wanted her to see the mercy of Jesus. She did. Yes, it is just a car. No, it is not just a soul.

Jesus says in John 15:18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." I need to think on this a bit. I need to pray on this. I need to resolve a long long conflict in me about those who hate me more than they love their own. I have tried my way to always bow out, to stay out of the way, to love those who love me instead and to "handle" this as needed and only when needed. But I am not evolving. I have hit a stalemate. Well that's not good! The most important thing to me is to be closer to Jesus and so this protective wall has to go. Oh but.... oh dear... oh but...and my mind fills with each and every ill mannered speak, thoughtless gestures, self centered egos and and and and and... And then Jesus says in Matthew 5:41 "If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. 43 You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." Oh I cannot do this on my own. Too much has happened. It is just too much Lord. To which He replied in my Word, in Isaiah 43:2 I promised you "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you." To which I replied "oh so you have met them". And then I hear "And I love them too. Now do the same in Me." Blessings! and looking forward to seeing you on the other side.

Just back from a fantastic adventure touring Ireland and what a blessing we were given but it was not without flaws, hiccups, and challenges. Relying on gratitude over complaining allowed us to see God at work! amazing!! thank you Jesus.

And now the fourth in this flying windows series was embracing Revelation 1:7, “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea…” and is called Portals. Windows, the Petitions per Isaiah 10:27, “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” The vision was showing that the windows are getting closer. They were no longer all out on the horizon but crashing up on the shore. And on the shore as well, God has set us His promise of “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.” From Psalms 23:5. The time has arrived to write our petitions to God from it as a formal written requests appealing to His authority with respect to our cause. The first petition in the Lord's Prayer for daily bread. And as Woodrow Wilson said, “No one can worship God or love his neighbor on an empty stomach.” These portals will be under the supervision of the angels to distribute under the promise of Matthew 6:25, "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” Yes, our enemies are going to watch us eat. Daniel 12:3 Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. This is SHINE. I made it home! And the Holy Spirit showed me this is my blessing. To rise up through the stars and to be everything He intended for me to be. To continue to learn my lessons and keep rising up to meet Him and His plan for me. I had been born an artist through the grace of God and He would not let me forsake this gift for another day. He had messages to be shared and He needed my cooperation. it is now game on! Isaiah 60:1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew, 5:15 and 5:16.

have to share a dream or is it a vision?!! a group of us left by plane for the Ukraine. We landed, left the terminal and toured the surrounding areas shops and talking with the people. many spoke English and with the others we used Translator. There was a particular man and woman sitting on a barricade in need. I pulled the change I had in my left pocket, felt its warmth, and gave it to him. He smiled and was surprised. We then went into one shop and looked around to buy souvenirs of things that could be kept in a photo album. The shopkeeper was selling out their wares for only cash as they were raising funds to assist those trying to leave. As I waited in line, I talked with 3 local older ladies in babushkas. I gazed upon their beautiful faces and tried to memorize them as I knew they had chosen to stay behind to create space for others. I was in awe of the warmth of the womens faces. Their skin was like an amber bronze. hmmm… angel like 😳😍 I went to the counter to pay for the stickers for my grandchildren, opened my purse snd saw a crumpled up $50 bill and thought “hmmm how odd.” At that, I heard a bus drive up outside calling “next stop Vesta”

More often than not, our good intentions of working so hard to “get everybody saved in Jesus” that we become an obstacle, or a stumbling block, to those very same people. We are to be a light per Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.“ Oh, and by the way! the good works part comes AFTER your salvation is secure as you cannot use these deeds to enter heaven, They will know we are Christians by our love so just end the war and give Jesus room to work. Have just one last talk with them and tell them why you love Jesus in 30 words or less including and ending in why you wish them to know Jesus as well. Then state meaningfully and truthfully that you will never bring it up again and that its their life and their death and that your heart will always be open to them. This aligns with Mark 6:11, “And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” And give them to God! And leave them there. What this does is that it takes away the fight and God can minister to them per Isaiah 55:8, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. 9 As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” He knows what He is doing. Stop beating them up. One last thing… if your life is not a testament to the love and compassion of the Lord you serve, plan on attending a “Come to Jesus” meeting with Him.

Interesting is that when we greet people and shake hands, which is traditionally done with the right hand, it became the standard for a friendly greeting because it was proof that we came in peace and weren't holding a weapon . It says in Isaiah 41:10, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.  I will hold you up with my victorious right hand .” And then three verses down it then says in 13, “ For I am the LORD your God  who takes hold of your right hand  and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” In order for that to work in our favor, we need to be facing Him. Makes sense.

The tares, the false “Christians”, are prowling… As it says in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” How can He save you and yours if you willing walk into a liars lair? Be careful and thoughtful of who you listen to. Does what they say align with the Bible? Are they cherry picking scripture to push their agenda? Knowing that the bible is based 100% on our restoration to God, take these three things into consideration… 1- Jesus said in John 15:12, “This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you. And added in John 15:17, “These things I command you, that ye may love one another.” He did not ask you to, He told you to. Our point of view is not more important than theirs. If you have, ask forgiveness of it! If they did, forgive it. The hate propels more hate. 2- Does what they say point 100% to Jesus? Or their ministry? Note: “their” is not the same as the Fathers. Learn to listen. The devil hides in the details. 3- Gods word is free for all. Including prayers. No charge. Tithing, or giving back to God 1/10th of what He has already given you, is not the same as sowing an offering in response to the gospel of the Lord Jesus, based on faith in God as our Provider as He states in 2 Corinthians 9:6, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written:“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor their righteousness endures forever.” Know His voice. Live in Peace.

Sometimes we need to stop and smell everything as it causes God to open our eyes. And it also was making it an interesting walk with Charly last night. It had just rained and it was just a dog sniffing paradise. My 127# buddy was up for going after all of them. He pulled. I pulled back. He pulled more. This spot and that spot was more enticing than my “heel”. So I stopped and stood still. He sat by my foot. I looked up and saw the two mourning doves on the wire and instantly the thought of the patience of my two grams came forth in my memories. And I heard the verse from Psalms 121:8, “the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” illuminating in my soul. I looked down upon my Charly, relaxed the leash and let him have his head for the rest of the walk. It may have resembled a drunkards path but nothing was missed. And I learned deeper the meaning of Genesis’ dominion over the animals. .

Rather than waiting on God to deliver your dreams, ask Him to deliver His dreams. Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to them that believe'” (Mark 9:23). It is time to change your mindset, and renew your thoughts and ways of thinking. Christianity is not a carrot on a stick philosophy. Its here and now and the delays are of our own making.

On a personal note... I shared this with a most treasured friend today and the Holy Spirit says more than just she needs to hear it. “when we are in strife, the lesson is usually ours and the easiest way back to peace is to ask Him what would He do? Hug them, rebuke them, join them for dinner, or kick the dust off the sandals. And look for a pattern of whats going on. In the patterns are the chains. And the truths! Which will set you free. In person, people see and feel what a treasure you are!! On keyboards, many are emboldened to be unkind and cruel because they are blind to the love of Jesus in you! Or they sense you can send their pain on to God for them. You are NOT to be the whipping post!! I see Gods love all over you! You glow!! And you are truly easy to love and to like ❤️” yes. you too! Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken Psalm 55:22 Till the other side then!
