Warrior be at peace.

Denise R Dahlheimer

Memorial Day... lest we forget... we have still have the walking wounded to care for.

This is called BE AT PEACE. In the book of John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid."

The four wars are represented in the camouflage coloring for VietNam, Afghanistan, and the two tours in Iraq. The Ace of Spades card tucked in the helmet is something from the Vietnam-era warriors as a statement representing that death comes with them, or for them, be it mentally or mortally. They know that death there is and death there will be. It is their sacrifice for others to live in freedom.

Note: I was led by The Father to gift the original to my meditation teacher for his Healing & Meditation Ministry with the VA Veterans and Wounded Warriors. He said later that as he prays with warriors with one hand on their head and one reaching for God in this same fashion he feels an immense and powerful connection of healing from God coming forth to the warrior.

God, please bless them and give them peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Art! On the Outskirts is the new project of entreating mountains via

art on and beyond the canvas, exploring how faith, nature, and creativity intersect.

This project is a journey of discovering the depths of faith with art as a tool to sustain healing in my life.

I may not walk on water as Jesus did, but I am staying afloat through life lessons.

Go Back! this is THE END of my blog!

If the world was flat, you would  now fall off here :)
