Mission of Mercy

Denise R Dahlheimer

The lowly donkey. Made into a clown for our amusement by western “civilization“. For the rest of the world, only the kingly could ride upon the beast. It was a donkey that carried Mary and her unborn fetus, Jesus, to His birth in Bethlehem. And to His death as told in Mark 11:2, “And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.“

I saw the the untamed donkey waiting to carry The Christ near the red door for the Triumphal Entry. I saw the Horse commune with the lowly creature reminding it that in its weighty burden is the hope of life that comes from this particular death. But is it the White Horse of Revelation 6:2, ”And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”?

Or is this the Pale Horse to usher in the next and final Triumphant Entry as spoken of in Revelation 6:8, “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Or is this the Holy Spirit? And are we the donkey?

This is called A Mission of Mercy. Why the 30 rose petals?

tick tick tick… Till the other side then.

Art! On the Outskirts is the new project of entreating mountains via

art on and beyond the canvas, exploring how faith, nature, and creativity intersect.

This project is a journey of discovering the depths of faith with art as a tool to sustain healing in my life.

I may not walk on water as Jesus did, but I am staying afloat through life lessons.

Go Back! this is THE END of my blog!

If the world was flat, you would  now fall off here :)
