Ivwitnessed as a prophet gave a word of hope and joy and of a full harvest for 7 years that will follow a short time of judgment. This was met by a scoffer with “7 years? What verse is that from? Let us be biblical!” And continued her tirade at the prophet. As I read this, I was led by the Holy Spirit to address the prophet and to ignore the scoffer, as her heart was against the current prophecies coming from God.
But God is timeless. He is I AM. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
God is understood as speaking by or through the prophet. In Deuteronomy (5:27, 31) the people ask Moses to “hear all that the Lord our God will say” and then to relay back to them what God has said.
And even as prophets are chosen and called by God, it is up to the people whether or not they can hear and know Gods Voice and Word as in Zechariah 7:12 They made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.
So what to do, what to do? Nothing. Give it to God, Ears cannot unhear. Eyes cannot unsee.
Isaiah 55:11 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
