Fear messes things up

I had a dream last night.

There was a storm approaching our home. A big storm. I could see it moving towards us across the landscape and I prayed. I prayed hard, really hard. There was fear at the base of my prayers. And the storm kept approaching. It was a big, dark frightening mass of swirling turbulence and my prayers were not stopping it.

The Holy Spirit pinged me to ask God “help my unbelief!!”

The shakiness in my body did not leave. The anxiety was still there. But way down deep my soul was steady. I prayed again.

The storm stopped. Just like that.

Art! On the Outskirts is the new project of entreating mountains via

art on and beyond the canvas, exploring how faith, nature, and creativity intersect.

This project is a journey of discovering the depths of faith with art as a tool to sustain healing in my life.

I may not walk on water as Jesus did, but I am staying afloat through life lessons.

AND I AM HERE TO SHARE THROUGH MY ART, MY STORIES, AND MY BOOKS - WE ARE IN IT TOGETHER.
